Since returning from Spring Break, I have been in major spring cleaning mode. I have been selling a bunch of my stuff on Poshmark, giving away things I don’t use, and recycling all of the class notes I have saved for years but never actually use. While I love having stuff (especially clothes), it has been quite freeing to not have things busting out of my drawers and piles of papers on my desk. Over the past few weeks I have worked on buying quality clothing, especially when I am not purchasing from a sustainable or ethical company.

I don’t think I have ever had high quality sunglasses. I am a serial $10 sunglass purchaser, and flea market sunglasses are my absolute weakness. These cheap sunglasses never actually made it easier to see on sunny days, and only sometimes actually looked good. It took three separate trips to Sunglass Hut for me to finally decide on these Ray Ban’s but I am obsessed with them. I can 110% see the difference between cheap sunglasses and high quality, polarized sunglasses, and the investment is definitely worth it. And here’s a (not so) fun fact – I’ve worn these sunglasses so often in the past few weeks that I have gotten a tan line from them on my nose. All the more reason to wear them every day, am I right??

If you follow me on Instagram you have definitely seen these yellow Adidas sneaks before. I have only bought two pairs of real sneakers – one pair of Nike’s from DSW on super sale, and one pair of Asics for volleyball. Other than that I have worn my super plain white Converse for the past four years. I am so excited to finally have real, quality, supportive sneakers that I can wear for all types of activities. These shoes are an investment, but they are definitely worth it.
